Mary our Blessed Mother is calling us to a deeper union and Love with Jesus through the complete passions and Life of Jesus. When you pray the Life and Passions of Jesus you pray the 3 Hail Marys between each Mystery which represent the Trinity of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit which leads to Faith, Hope, and Charity as you pray the Hail Marys. So you have 60 Hail Marys in your Meditation as you complete all four Mysteries of the Life and Passions of Jesus.

How to Pray the Passions of the Cross

The Passions of the Cross Prayer was derived from three other prayers. Started with the Traditional rosary prayers, to be prayed on the Life and Passions of Jesus Rosary/Chaplet, and saying the divine mercy prayers, while praying and meditating on the 14 passions of the cross.

When I started the Rosary of Life prayer book, (now the Life and Passions of Jesus) in July of 2007, I started writing down the prayers and passions as I prayed in adoration, which is praying a holy hour in front of the blessed sacrament of the living body of Christ, which is the consecration (blessing) of the bread during mass that becomes the body of Christ.
